Internet Marketing for the Newest Newbie
If you are thinking of starting an income online, take my tips as your guide...
First and foremost, ACCEPT that there are no quick ways to earn honest money, online or otherwise. Once you know this, it will make you commit to your desire, which in most people is to be successful. Those who claim to have earned thousands from the internet in 24 hours have actually spent years perfecting their methods.
2) Do your research. If you see a promising opportunity, Google it or email your potential upline. Ask about everything such as cancelling your account. If that upline does not respond in 2 days, move on to search for another upline.
If you have experience in promoting a free program in the past, also see if your upline shares a similar view in promoting. If you do not share the same view as your upline, most probably you will not enjoy your internet business.
3) Trust your instincts. If you feel very excited (like it makes you sleepless for 10 days) over an opportunity, most probably you should sign up. You can start with programs that require zero investment. See how you can promote it. If there are sign ups under you, that means you have the potential to carry on what you are doing and steadily move up to bigger things. 4) Going on to bigger things does mean a little more investment. Get a website. A website enables you to put all your eggs in one basket and makes promoting every program easier.
5) Promote your website. If you have yet to make any cash online, advertise by using free resources. Expose your site to your potential customers WORLDWIDE!
Promoting your website will be the next most important thing besides having a good upline. A website which nobody knows exists is as good as a waste of your time. So you have to find the methods which work most for you.
6) Keep focused on your promotions. Any program will work for you. The trick is to stick to the system that works for you.
7) Keep in touch with ALL your contacts. Send them an email once in a while. No matter who they are, you will never know what your contacts can offer you. Build your network and learn from each other.
8) Don’t waste your precious time by spamming. How many times do you open an email from a stranger? There are full of reports of people sending viruses and spyware through the email. Spamming is dead.
9) Be confident. Trust yourself to be able to learn about everything you need to succeed. Take one small step at a time, though, because there are a lot to be learnt.
10) Be positive always! What you regard as failure is only an indication that you should take another route to learn more.
11) Be ethical. One lesson I learnt from another marketer is that you can easily lose your customers’ trust. The world is full of skeptics. Once you lose their trust, it’s the end of the internet marketing road for you, until of course you work even harder to have a second chance! 12) Do charity. This may come in the smallest way, such as displaying your favorite charity in your website. It may not show any profitable results, but when you feel that the world is against your hardest efforts, it pays to remember hardship of others.
Last but NOT least, keep an open mind. By doing so will only enhance your learning skills. Think through everything. There are a 101 ways to be successful. Find one task that excites you everyday. Share that and increase your credibility.
The catch is that you HAVE to put in your efforts NOW to reap your rewards later! |
